This teacher is obviously a little confused. As far as I know, there is very little difference in mental capacity between whites and people of color. I could be wrong, but I don't believe that neurologists have confirmed that one of those races is intellectually superior to the other. I believe what this teacher was getting at is that white civilization was (and to a degree still is) more advanced than black civilizations in modern history. If you take a glance at the outstanding achievements, morally right or wrong, of the British Empire for example, and then look at the Aborignees of Australia or African tribes prior to imperialism, there is no comparison. So when discussing civilization, it is quite safe to say that whites are superior to blacks. When comparing raw intelligence, however, I don't see any evidence to support that claim.
