  1. These 17 and 18-year olds think banning semi-automatic weapons will bring an end to school shootings forever. Of course they don't have the wisdom to realize that this will only create a black market and criminals that want to do such things will still take the risk to purchase them illegally, meanwhile millions of law-abiding citizens will be punished for no good reason. I'm 17 and I couldn't be more ashamed to be a member of this generation. For all of you law-abiding gun-owners out there, there is still hope. Conservative members of my generation like myself will not allow the left to take full control of government, we will be there to fight them the entire way.

  5. Sophie Tamosiunis Apparently you have never heard of the Black Market. Take a look at Prohibition and how well that worked. Very much the same thing occurring today, except teenagers are fighting for change, not women. And guess who won out in the end? The men were right all along. Prohibition failed to ban the sale and distribution of alcohol, how will guns be any different?

  6. Sophie Tamosiunis I'm quite sure everyone is legally allowed to serve in the military provided they don't have a disability, not just the reserves. This includes almost all of the general public.
