  1. Imagine if all of our roads had solar technology --- that would supply a LOT of power. Then imagine if everyone drove electric (or hybrid) cars which were constantly being charged by these roads as they drove on them, and any surplus energy would be transmitted into the power grid. All we have to do is solve the problem of power storage (lithium mining is notoriously bad for the environment), and we will be golden.

  2. Oops, I stepped on a zygote, am I a murderer? Does the life of a single cell matter? How about two? Four? Eight? Sixteen? Do you see where this is going? We have to draw a line somewhere, and for me it's when a fetus has the capacity to feel pain --- which is at about 18 weeks. (Fun fact: 98% of abortions occur within the first trimester, or about 13 weeks.)
