I wish I had the money and fame to do something like this. Good on him for trying to bring people together. If I were in his shoes though, I would approach this a little differently. I think we agree on a lot more than we think we do, but the two-party system we have now is keeping us apart. You're either on one side or the other, and when that happens you inevitably end up with a society that is polarized. Red or blue, which are you? My goal would to get at least half the country to say neither. We need more political parties so the people have more of a voice in local, state and federal government. That would be my mission if I was Chris Evans: to bring about awareness on politics and explain the ideologies of ALL parties, not just two. The most important thing, however, is to start with the TRUTH and what has been scientifically proven and then have reasoned debate about how to handle said issue. To have any kind of discussion, we must find common ground and if we can't agree on what's objectively true then we're doomed from the start.
