  1. Batteries are not better. Electric cars rely on the electrical grid for energy, which gets its power from fossil fuels. Also, the batteries themselves have a lifespan and are toxic to the environment, making them very difficult to dispose of.

  2. But what if this so-called "climate change" is not our fault, but instead some external force that is beyond our control? We need more evidence. Fossil fuels will slowly phase out when their supply is depleted, and in the meantime we can search for cleaner alternatives. There's no reason to expedite the process.
