Being fired from work for no good reason will do this people... Job security should be top priority legislation for Washington to consider. This kind of outrage should never occur outside of romantic relationships or family, if you're terminated they better have damn good reason for it. I suspect that's not what happened in this case.

@teeteelouky8407 I understand where the shooter may be coming from. I wouldn't want to spend 4 years in college, racking up thousands of dollars in debt, only to be fired for blowing my nose too loud. There have to be laws that protect someone against a wrongful termination, period. No one deserves to go through all the effort of searching for a job and succeeding in an interview and cover letter only to lose it for something as petty as that. It's outrageous beyond compare.

@teeteelouky8407 For most people, their job is their livelihood. All I'm saying is there should laws against being fired for any reason whatsoever. The offender must have committed some act that was against company policy to be terminated. TERMINATED, not laid off. I completely understand that companies have to lay off workers to save money or because they are closing down, but being FIRED should be the worst punishment of all. Only by doing something that's beyond unacceptable should someone be FIRED. That goes on your job record, and suddenly you're back to the search for another job. That is WRONG. I'm proposing that before we do something as radical as repeal the 2nd Amendment, we tackle the issue that seems to be motivating people to do such despicable acts. Job security should be FIRST PRIORITY on Congress' agenda. FIRST PRIORITY!!!!
