@downallyourstreets Taft only ran for President because Roosevelt TOLD him to! He wanted to be a justice on the Supreme Court but TR talked him into running for President instead. Then when Taft did not publicize his progress (busting SEVENTY trusts, conserving more land) by making speeches to the American people and his approval ratings subsequently dropped, TR had had enough and decided to form his own political party to compete against someone who WAS his friend! Get your facts straight!

@Marchking45 The regulations he's repealing are almost useless. They needlessly delay projects, which is why our European friends can build a bridge in a month but it takes us 10 years. The majority of that time is spent on assessing the environmental impacts of that construction. Generally speaking, the fewer regulations the better. The EPA has a purpose, it should go in, get done quickly and then GET OUT. (Did I mention that a Republican President, Richard Nixon, created the EPA too? Bonus round: he also signed into law the Clean Air Act and the National Environmental Policy Act.)

@Marchking45 Nobody cares about Native Americans anymore. They lost the war, so they have to accept whatever land we give them. They literally deserve ZERO consideration when building something as minor and as safe as a pipeline.
