Life was improving for the African-American community in New York under Rudy Giuliani's leadership. His tough crime policies actually made these poor areas somewhat LIVABLE again. The answer to fixing the ghetto nature of minority neighborhoods is actually MORE policing, not less. By attacking the very people who enforce laws that are intended to keep people safe (the whole point of a government), the left is taking the side of criminality. That will only make the b*l*a*c*k experience in America worse.
