The driver refused to allow the guy to sit in the back. What possible reason might he have for doing such a thing? He's losing BUSINESS.

@Lin K No it's never justified to say those things, he shouldn't have stooped to to the driver's level and pulled the race card. His question was valid, that was all I said. The mature thing he should have done was contact Uber about getting another ride, and let them know that one of their drivers just refused to give him one. Instead, he couldn't control his mouth and lost everything.

@phantomangel21 That's not the subject of debate. What I'm outraged about is the driver refusing to take a compliant passenger (AFTER the argument ended and he was ALREADY SEATED in the backseat) and the customer lost control (assuming the driver was racially motivated), then he loses his job at HIS OWN COMPANY because of it. Ban him from using Uber, fine. But fire him from the company HE owned?!! That's beyond outrageous!!! It was the DRIVER who refused to provide a service, HE'S THE ONE WHO SHOULD BE TERMINATED!!

@Lin K He refused to allow a man who ALREADY gave up the fight to sit in the front seat. If it was open, I would try sitting up there too! He insisted, the driver refused to let him, and then he conceded. Then he goes to sit in the back, and the driver tells him "get out"?? WHAT THE HELL? It makes ZERO sense why he would want to do that AFTER the man gave up the fight. Is it because the driver is afraid of the white man? Who's the racist again?!

@ProcrastinatinZombie The driver refused service to a compliant customer. That is disgraceful perhaps bordering on discrimination if was race was a factor in the decision.

Jabbie jabbie If Uber made a rule banning front-seat passengers, wouldn't the CEO know about it? Also, would the CEO REALLY assault one of his own drivers? 🤔 Come one dude, think this one through. It's not hard.
