  1. My two guesses at the beginning of the video were Beethoven and Mozart. I was (pleasantly) astonished to learn that this person is one who still lives (as of this writing). Sure, a majority of the world's population can probably hum Beethoven's Fifth Symphony from memory, but if the same can be said of half-a-dozen or more movie scores by a single composer, is it even close? The answer is no. It's the combination of unmistakeable and catchy motifs that all share a similar, yet distinct sound and memorability of the films to which they are expertly crafted that earn him the place as the world's most well-known musician. John Williams is truly our modern-day classical music genius. At least as far as popularity is concerned, only Hans Zimmer and Howard Shore approach him in my humble opinion.
