  1. Even if the probability magically changed to 1/2 once one of the doors were opened, revealing a goat, it still wouldn't do you any harm to switch because your odds of winning would be 50%. You're not lessening your probability by doing so. So it really doesn't make sense to say "No, you shouldn't switch" even if you happen to be wrong about what the odds actually are.
