I would support a wealth tax like the one Warren proposed as long as the funds are allocated to government programs that benefit people, such as college or healthcare, but not if it makes its way to the bank accounts of the poorest in our society. Paying off student loans is one thing, but giving away free money to those who refuse to work for it is something else entirely.
