  1. I've been to a drag race. These suckers are LOUD. The only thing that even comes close to the same level of volume is the funnycars (which you didn't mention but are super fast too), a jet taking off at close range, or watching a rocket launch from a distance. If you find loud concerts somewhat unbearable, I'll have to strongly advise you against watching one of these races in person. I was also fortunate enough to be invited into a VIP section, because I'm related to Bill Schumacher, father and owner of the team of Tony Schumacher.
