  1. I have a liberal friend and we disagree on pretty much everything from gun control to police brutality. Yet neither one of us hates the other because of it. A great example of tolerance dates back to the founding of America, when John Adams (a Federalist) and Thomas Jefferson (a Democrat-Republican) reconciliated their relationship following the latter's presidency as they each realized that the other wants what's best for America. Where is that mutual respect in today's world? 😞
