  1. How about we just learn from the past and take into account everything that worked and everything that didn't? If everyone approached politics with these ideals, there would be no convincing argument for socialism or theocracy. But instead, half of the population wants to see us trend in the direction of a peaceful and prosperous utopia that will never exist. Humans are evil and greedy by nature. News flash for you if you're one of those people: it will never happen.
