@glennrishton5679 Yep, it's the few seconds when you realize that you made a mistake and indecision strikes: "Do I commit anyway or reverse course, or do I sit here and hope the guy dodges me?" I nearly experienced this myself the other day when I made a left at a T-intersection from a stop sign, and the traffic coming from the left side was closer than I had anticipated. I almost slowed to a stop initially (vainly hoping that I could kick it into reverse and get out of the way), but fortunately I decided that the safest option was just to commit and move as fast as possible out of their way. It wasn't super close, but it was enough to wake me up for sure.
