@ShamanSage Those people are just idiots (for the most part) -- they aren't doing it for their own satisfaction at others' expense, but out of fear and extreme caution for their own safety. IMO the @ssholes who weave between traffic like they own the road, refuse to offer any courtesy whatsoever (like turn signals), and in general drive recklessly and put others in danger for their own selfish ends are far more detestable because it is strongly indicative a severe moral failing. If I had to choose, I would go with the overly cautious driver every single time, because I at least am more assured that as a person they are not particularly loathsome. Some people just aren't naturally skilled at driving (or are no longer capable due to age, disability, etc.), and that's perfectly fine. What's not fine is that sorry excuses for humans who risk the lives of fellow motorists and pedestrians on a daily basis to reach their destination slightly quicker still have a license to drive. Neither driver belongs on the road, but (to me at least) it is quite obvious who the lesser of two evils is.
