  1. Harriet Tumbman, Frederick Douglass, Booker T. Washington, Martin Luther King Jr., even President Barack Obama... All of their stories belong at their proper time in American history. They deserve to be taught alongside the likes of Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Henry Ford, Andrew Carnegie, Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, and even the current President. Give them their proper time in history, tell their stories in chronological order along with everyone else's because at the end of the day, their history IS American history.
