  3. oh, these "pre-prepared test objects"... marketing, meaningless and merciless. Comparing glass and polycarbonate not designed to be scratch resistant? Why not mica or toilet paper? The point is to give the person the feeling of "wow, this is so durable." Although if you use ordinary window glass instead of polycarbonate, there will be almost no difference unless you use a cutter. pressing through the sample... it is enough for some samples to make a substrate with a thinner material in the center, and for others - vice versa, and now it is extremely easy for you to break one sample and difficult to break another - although they may contain the same glass. The drop test is also completely false. leave a little space between the glass and the base, or vice versa, glue it - and the same sample will break from a low height and remain intact from a higher one. also, why do you need abrasive paper? This is not even close to “asphalt”, it is FLAT, and the particles and its components will not particularly affect the results of the experiment - it is just a distraction for the viewer, like magicians. it is not scientific, and therefore should be subject to ten times more criticism. if in order to show you the “advantages” of their product they lie to you right from the very beginning, they want to deceive you. Conducting experiments correctly should have increased trust in them... but either marketers can no longer help but lie, or they are afraid that we will see the results that they cannot justify the price of their products. And yes, I very much doubt that when using glass for windows in ancient times they thought “it will retain heat” or “it will protect against insects” - because work with glass began in more developed regions where there are no problems with the temperature outside - after all, the easier it was to get food, the more time was left for the development of the rudiments of industry.

  4. The prisoner's dilemma is nothing more than a nice thought experiment that does not apply to real life. It sets only the basic goal of the players - to increase their score. But what if the players have different goals? America has never set out to improve the lives of humanity, their goal is only to improve the lives of the United States. Not to make the lives of everyone, from the Vietnamese to the Eskimos, better, but only to improve the lives of America's ruling class. Affordable medicine is being replaced by expensive medicine - and doctors receive tens of thousands for empty advice, while a simple worker cannot afford pain relief for a fracture. A private company produces a medicine for the price of a millionaire's yacht, because any product must not only pay for itself, but also bring huge profits, while the state spends monstrous budgets on military purposes, and not on sponsoring such drug development. I read the news every day, and every day I hear there not “America must make the world a better place,” but “America must be the strongest country so that only it gets the resources of the whole world.” Returning to the examples from the beginning of the video. Why do antelopes solve their problems through cooperation? Because their goal is to continue their family line. Not to survive ourselves, but to preserve our species. For this purpose, they will both help each other and throw old individuals to be devoured by predators. Now imagine if people began to apply the same approach in their lives? Why spend millions on treating diseases that kill thousands of people every year? It is better to spend them on something more useful, and these deaths will not affect the survival and development of the species. Why care for premature babies? They will also get health and brain problems. Let them die, in total humanity will become better. Why support antisocial elements with taxpayers' money? Letting them experiment will only bring benefits. All these examples are options for solving the dilemma with maximum benefit to society.
