  2. Warning: Be careful not to sign your life away. I can confirm a previous comment in that I've seen very caring CNAs and RNs fired if they became too friendly with residents. Corporations do not care that we are broken animals, not stupid animals. It is also insulting to know what you accomplished during your career, but now you're just considered a monthly payment and blob of flesh. The company profiled in this report is not the only one guilty of what I consider senior abuse and places that often violate ADA statutes. I would name names but do not want to beome vulnerable to litigation.

  3. I am living with a incurable rare brain disease. I think just because science can extend age it does not mean we should. I've have already passed two diagnosed life expectancies. To have people live old just to remain old, usually becase of selfishness from family members, is simply cruel.

  5. I am with you @retroboomer3197. I do my research for big ticket and parts replacement directly fom American manufacturers. My wife and buy from local grocers. It may take time and research, but it's worth it.

  6. Agreed. Those making positive comments in this documentary sound like it was made in the 1980s. Poor production. We do not shop Walmart.

  7.  @anthonydelfino6171  and @swayback7375 I agree and for the past 5 years have purchased directly from American manufacturers, and in many cases paid lower than reail -- some wholesale. They appreciate it.

  8. The Walmart business model is to put local business out of business. Walmart is good for the Chinese political party. It is terrible for America as it has become the world's largest retailer. I don't know about northern areas, but I can show southern towns shut down by Walmart.

  9. So, you are basically working for a company taking your money. I strongly urge you research and shop elsewhere even if it is a budget adjustment. My wife and I have been doing this for a few years and are less stressed. Blessings and best wishes to you.
