Having been born at a very young age among a family more advanced than average for the communities where I was raised, I was epected to be a miniture adult. After all my cousins were closer to my parents in age. I learned "respect your elders" and always had empathy along that line.
When I came of age and began traveling with my career, I was amazed by the love and care the elderly were given in countries outside the U.S.
Now, as a member of the seasoned citizen demographic it is amazing to me how poorly the aged, especially infirmed, are generally treated. Basically locked away.
No, I do not think age is a sin. It just popular culture and lost values that makes it seem that way. Age can be a great gift to all.
Age is a sign of experience. Sure some of us are decent and other grumpy, but there are probaably reasons for both.
It is good too exercise such practices as Psalm 71:8 "Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come."
And "Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." (I Timpothy 5:8)
Thank you for another fine fillm shared, David. Stay well and be a blessing.
