Both are believers and say their faith helps them understand the science in all its complexity.   9. We live in Texas USA. I would dare say attitudes regarding Christianity vary widely depending on where more conservatives or liberals reside. In my experience I've seen organized churches pushing out genuine believers in Jesus as the Christ and Savior through whom God Almighty is honored. Yes, done so in the claim of inclusivity. It is more important to me to honor the Lord.

  23. No excuses. We believers must stand up -- even if persecuted -- and be examples of stewardship of the earth but more-so the ahavah of our Savior. God's (YHWH) greatest punishment is to leave humans to our own devices. I'm not as concerned about the anti-Christ as I am being prepared for he ultimate return of Messiah.

  27. People (I think particularly Americans ... maybe not) do not realize celebrities are only celebrities. Sin is sin and we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. My personal sin I fight, as a mater of full disclosure, is thoughts of judgement and prejudice (not racial) toward certain lifestyles, personalities and actions. I don't know if two days pass that I do not need to repent again and again. That said, as you suggest, the more we draw near the Savior the more we distance ourselves from sin. Yes, Joe, I agree, we all need a friend or two with whom we can keep one another accountable. Addressing one another as Man of God sounds corny to some, but to us older guys it helps keep us on the straight and narrow. Very good presentation Joe. Now, let's go be a blessing.

  28. Very good message/lesson Joe. Angels are Messengers. Hebrews 13:2 comes to mind as once I had an experience just during the course of my day, but thought afterward if that guy I interacted with only for a few moments -- and have never seen since -- was an angel. He directed me, I only realized later, was a great career move. I don't know if this appearance was our Savior. I kind of doubt so, yet there was a "feeling" he was someone special.

  30. Another fine message, Joe. I think you hit the key when you said God created a "different dimension" (perhaps for both heaven and hell). I have a hard time considering the hollow earth, like the flat earthers. All I know is I've confessed my sin and received my Savior Christ Jesus' Holy Spirit baptism to glorify our Heavenly Father.

Because of my lack of sight and inability to use a smart phone I've been blessed as delivered from that temptation. That said, I know the powers of darkness constantly fight me with the spirit of distraction, but God is greater than distraction because He gives me full attention. My returing that attention is what I do out of respect and love. Because He has never ignored me.

The difference (at least what I've experienced and observed) in many cases it is the genuine believers falling away from the Sunday showmanship and limited worship. I pray believers around the globe are prepaired to rise up and stand solid for Jesus as the returning messiah offering truth.

  47. Hmm, well Joe just as you are honest with us, I'm going to do the same with you. Just because the book of Enoch may have some possible truths, it does not mean it is completely truthful. I think a genuine and mature, scholarly believer doing research could handle Enoch, however I do not think I would suggest it to a new believer. The Bible is sometimes difficult enough to fully comprehend. That said, cross referencing select historic material is good to confirm the Bible is truly the Word of God. Good presentation.   49. Good presentation, Joe. God does not take sides in spots, but for those believers in any sport they may be protected from severe injury. I remember watching boxing with an uncle when I was a child, so I appreciate your interest. I didn't have the talent or encouragement to pursue it. I'm at the would-of, could-of, should-of stage of life. The one absolute thing I did correctly was repent of my sins and ask Jesus Christ to cleans, accept and change me. That in itself brings spiritual "fights" but I refuse to surrender. This episode makes me think of Theodore Roosevelt's words regarding the man in the arena. I do not know if they are Godly or not, but I have found them fitting many times. Now, let's go be a blessing.

  50. Good presentation. I have been following this and marked my calendar between today (Sabbath 20 June) an the beginning of Passover on Monday (22 April 2024). The concept is interesting and with the war significant. The good news is that believers and servants of our Savior will be claimed by Him. (Luke 21: 25-28)
