Been there done that. Pin hole cameras and dark rooms with chemicals. Why? Digital is so much easier. But I guess if you're stuck in L.A. lol AND COSTS MORE, film. developing chemicals/paper, enlarger and other darkroom equipment if you can do it yourself. Well I guess if you're young and just discovering. I had a Brownie box, then we had an instamatic with the flash cubes, then SX-70s lol. 35mm I did across Europe. 6 dozen rolls of 400 film I had NO IDEA if the images I caught were the ones I wanted. With digital you can see and take another before the light changes. On film you would need to shoot a roll of a sunset to hope one is good when they are developed. Also, how easy is it to video with digital, upload to a computer and take screen shots as you watch the film. I did that from our families 60 year old films my little sister transferred to a CD, then a USB. I can take still photos of my mom in her 20's that have never been taken before. Digital is magic. Film is nostalgic. Unless you were Brett Weston.
