  12.  @nbgoodiscore1303  I seriously doubt that China's manufacturing consumption of oil is only 12% higher than the USA. That doesn't sound feasible. The USA barely manufactures anything, whilst China manufactures just about everything.

  13. ​ @nbgoodiscore1303 You still need petroleum for manufacturing. Almost every product you own requires oil to produce. Oil and natural gas are needed for industrial output. Since China is the manufacturing capital of the world, they won't be getting rid of oil anytime soon.
