The problem is Estonia is a tiny target, there is almost no benefit to manipulating their election results. The US on the other hand is far more influential around the world, it is a much bigger target.

He can control the height of his prosthetics, it is not harder to run if you are shorter or taller, try running on stilts it is so easy. The only thing that changes is how far a step is, so you will naturally go faster with longer legs or prosthetics. But NO retraining is required.

Here's the thing, Estonia is not the US. What is the point of changing the election in Estonia? Change the outcome of the election in the us, and russia can continue invading european countries.

@itisdevonly In most republican states, they don't force you to go to a specific polling place. If you are waiting in line for hours you are dumb and shouldn't be voting. Go 2 hours later or 2 hours earlier.

Just because everyone has a right to vote, doesn't mean everyone should vote. The only people who should vote are the ones who put in the effort and care enough to make an educated decision. Uneducated voters voting cause so many problems.

If there is no fraud going on, no one should be apposed to ID being required for voting. Anyways do you really believe black people don't have ID's you need ID's for practically everything in the us.

Its funny how so many people consider cruise and google to be building self driving cars, I would consider tesla to be the only company making self driving cars. Cruise and google are making trackless trains.

Who benefits from the voting system you use getting compromised to change the outcome of the election? You aren't even a nuclear country. The election in the US is a much larger target.

Privacy and security. Imagine what hitler could do with all that information you are freely giving to your government. The idea "I have nothing to hide" only really applies when your morals match the governments.

@KBRoller It was never a matter of assuming ai would be bad at understanding safety, it was a matter of knowing that it makes for a more interesting story if it doesn't.

@KBRoller Yes, but no ai researcher actually thought an ai would behave that way. They know what they are talking about. The paper clip thought experiment was never anything more than a thought experiment, to demonstrate the type of issues ai systems may have.

@ctrlsilk Someone who can explain the at least a few policies of their candidate and who can show they have an understanding of the historical effects of similar policies. Most voters vote based purely on the opinion of the people who influence them online, and do no research into actual policies of the people involved.

We don't trust our government, we learned from germany's mistakes during world war 2. We would rather not freely hand that much data to the government especially in the modern age. Always ask yourself this question when you vote to give your government a new power or authority. Would I want hitler to have this power?

People who don't like nuclear need to do more research on nuclear energy production and waste storage. Nuclear waste is stored in barrels that block the radiation, then they are moved in containers that are train crash proof(not just resistant), to some of the most geologically stable areas where they are buried in a hole, in a mine, that is then filled with concrete. You are more likely to be killed crossing the road or driving to the airport than by anything that would happen to you regarding nuclear waste. It really can't get any safer than that. You are probably more likely to have a wind turbine blade fall off and kill you or get a solar panel dropped on you than dying or getting exposed to nuclear waste. Every single nuclear accident has been caused by something that was entirely preventable with the right government policies.

Every problem is solved after enough human thought hours have taken place. The same thing can be said about energy, the more energy we use the faster we are able to solve every problem including cheap clean energy.

We should just use trains for cargo. Trains are so much better in so many ways.
