Hugo Martinez they’re not justifying bad guys. They are calling the the few bad guys that are serving as ones that are supposed to protect us
29
Suppressor it would be played out if it stops happening in real life. But yea the music is good
11
DJ Abaka I’m sure they’re not looking for it to be as popular as their old stuff
10
Jak just because their message makes you uncomfortable doesn’t mean their trash. Maybe to you but not to everyone
10
Calm Studios the best things often do go unnoticed
9
Mai Mohamed they’ve beeen back. They released two other songs
8
Mateusz Mati and these events are still happening today
8
Suppressor they’ve been doing political songs since the 90s. They changed their direction when Fergie came in. Now their going back to their roots
7
Dutch Delight don’t worry about it
6
Dutch Delight no he got it right.
5
My Experia sure. That’s why the UK, a country that doesn’t have to involve itself with America at all, is rallying with thousands of people against Trump. Because trump is so great.
5
Birdie Wolf I applaud you. I hate how people make a generalization with statistics they use in the wrong way to fit their narrative. You are setting people straight
4
Ricardo Flores that future boom boom boom
3
LuxuryWhip you’ve been watch too much fox news
3
Suppressor I think it can be looked at in two ways. One way is like you said and another way that calls out the injustices that are still happening everyday.
3
Suppressor it should. It wouldn’t be art if it didn’t cause controversy
3
Natas The Second I doubt they are trying to ponder Hollywood. They did more of that in the 2000s when they changed their style to pop. Their going back to how they started
2
Mark Andrew Skates it’s for everyone
2
Mark Andrew Skates I think he meant the songs that are for us are the ones that they didn’t put lyrical meaning into and the ones that are for them have more of that. The songs are still for us to enjoy but not just for partying anymore
2
Harry Ballzac obviously you do. While you spend your time commenting on YouTube All three of them are running multimillion dollar organizations that help the community. The joke is you
2
Valon Nivokazi ikr. I hate that it’s not getting that much notice
2
James Locke don’t have to keep saying it over and over? It can stop being said when police stop abusing their authority.
2
James Locke so what about the cops who steal beat and kill the ones who don’t run away and comply. That’s the cops that this video is about not the police as a whole.
2
James Locke no a lot of cops kill people without a good cause. That’s called police brutality. That deserves more than administrative leave.
2
Ryan gst they also forgot to add Tamir rice , a kid who was killed by a cop for playing with a toy
2
CheroBam Sv look up their new song street livin. That came out before this is america
2
angel she’s still in the group. She’s just not in this album they are about to put out
2
Eli Powell that’s not the swat team that’s ice
2
Trung Nguyen they have been Doing this since the 90s. Research
2
chucke2319 true. Conscious songs don’t get nearly as much attention as mumble rap now. I think BEP knows that too
2
Robogabriel listen to street living. That came out before this is america
2
beto jacobo to you
2
Charlotte Emillie Tupino Live your life the fullest. Life gets hard but it always passes
2
Mr. RESPECT BEAR still are
1
jeffhardy181371 how many incidents do you see where a black cops shoots a white unarmed man? Close to none I presume
1
jeffhardy181371 because black on black crime is a different issue. This is about police brutality and more brutality has been toward black people than other races. Every incident that they portrayed has not happened to white people are at least not as much as it happens to people of color. They didn’t show white on white crime. How come that doesn’t bother you as much as not showing black on black?
1
S1LENCE no you see cops abusing their job
1
Shariqwa Witwicky they just haven’t released music in a long time.
1
Get over here ! She busy with her own stuff. She still in the group
1
Dylan I’m everything you said and I admire this song a lot. In music videos A lot of people see police and automatically thinking that it’s about the whole police as whole, but’s it’s really focusing on police brutality. The police are people who put their lives on the line to protect us, but those few who abuse their authority and cause incidents like the ones portrayed in this video. And that makes the whole force look bad
1
Melvin they’ve been making songs like this since the 90s, way before other artists started doing it
1
Ehsa looks like you haven’t heard their early work
1
Ehsa I mean their work before fergie
1
Are You Dumb he may not exactly want it to happen but based on everything he’s said and done he doesn’t care if it happens
1
EmiliYoGaming it is good
1
I love all the hate in the comment section. Any type of message that doesn’t show trump in the light of a god, they say it’s race baiting propaganda. Lol keep whining
1
Свободный Творцуха look at their video street living. Same concept, came out before this is america
1
James Locke talking about stopping police brutality doesn’t mean they are blaming problems on everyone else
1
Jak it’s not about the whole police. It’s about police brutality and I’m sure they wouldn’t mind losing your fandom. You’re not a real fan anyway if you didn’t know that they made songs like this in the 90s when they started
1
Jak I’m sure you have heard of where is the love? They even re did the song because nothing has changed. Now they are using the in your face approach like they did back then. Maybe if these types of things stopped happening, we would hear less songs about it.
