I bet you never have to ask this if the person is white though

It won’t let me reply directly, but it’s really Telling that you only bring up a question of narrative when it’s a person of color being highlighted. Do you comment about narrative on the other pieces of Time magazine that highlighted white people?

@user-wr4yl7tx3w why is there a criticism of time magazine just because the person is not white?
2
again, did you comment on Time magazine pieces that highlighted white people? I’m guessing no. Secondly this has nothing to do with DEI. This young man has made a worthy accomplishment that deserves to be acknowledged by every publication, let alone Timr. For you to think that he is only being acknowledged just because of his skin color expresses that you are triggered by people of color succeeding and that you are inherently racist. Thirdly, DEI doesn’t not advocate for quotas, it advocates for representation of people of all backgrounds.

@user-wr4yl7tx3w reread what I wrote. Thr accomplishments of this person has been covered by plenty of publications other than Time so you thinking Time made this just for Dei is ridiculous in its self. . What definition of dei had the word quota in it? And please site your source.

@user-wr4yl7tx3w and what does equity mean? It means the quality of being fair and impartial. Still waiting on you to tell me what definition of dei says it promotes quotas
2
Ah, another racist triggered from non-white people succeeding.

@user-wr4yl7tx3w yet you would never question if there’s a narrative if a white person was being showcased. I suggest you ask yourself why are really bothered only when people of color are showcased.

@user-wr4yl7tx3w so it’s only equal opportunity when wyt people get the spot light. Got it

@user-wr4yl7tx3w you’re o oh saying that because a black person is being highlighted. I bet you swear you’re not racist too
