  2. Paul Taylor a hundred years? No that’s false. USA was actually the third city to host since the modern games began. St. Louis hosted in 1904. Los Angeles hosted 1932 and again in 1984. America has hosted the summer games more than another country

Secondly, the IOC didn’t vote for Chicago because the country not only has hosted more than everyone else, but it also just finished hosting an Olympics less than seven years prior. You can’t hog the Olympics from the rest of the world
