I marched in the band at an hbcu and I know Beyoncé hasn’t picked up an instrument in her life. So what? She is showing hbcu marching bands, something that I love on a world stage and I’ve never felt more proud to match in a hbcu band. Why the fuck would anyone be mad at that?

You don’t understand how monumental it is for something like this to be brought to the spotlight for the world to see. So you’ll never understand the importance of it.
