  4. Marlon Moncrieffe you can keep the sports, I mean just not so many people for the sport. Like I doubt countries like USA and China need hundreds and hundreds of athletes for just 30 events

  5. I think the reason why host cities go down and lose money is because they choose to built brand new facilities when they can use natural structures. I looked at a documentary about the Rome 1960 games and they held events in ancient ruins. All that was need to be built was benches for the audience for most of the events.

  8. helloed294 the Olympics is not for select cities. It’s supposed to be shared with the world. What I really think should happen is the the IOC trim down The required number of athletes to come. Teams like USA and Germany bring over 600 athletes to the games while more than 100 countries bring less than 10. I heard they were lowering down gymnastics to 4 athletes. They need to do the same with track and field

Capetown is more than capable of hosting. They hosted international events before and they have have infrastructure available.

  12. Fam Alam if you understand that if his plan includes Rio keeping existing structures of it keeps returning then you would be calling yourself stupid

  14. Fam Alam you’re not understanding me. I’m saying if the IOC were take on the plan that he proposed where RIO would have the games reoccurring, that would keep it money for maintenance and for the city rolling in

  15. Fam Alam never said the IOC would pay for anything. I said if the guys plan were to happen meaning that if the games were to reoccur in RIO it would give use to the structures that are built now which will integrate into benefiting the city.

  16. Lildizzle420 Capetown has over 10 years before they have the opportunity to host. It should be fixed by then. The city is still thriving with their current situation.

  17. Andrew Schulz he just said Capetown in the video. They hosted the World Cup in 2010 so it’s possible to host the Olympics
