@pneron2032 typical privileged tone deaf and ignorant response. What do you mean every other country has found a way? Every other country hasn’t had the same circumstances as Ghana and other African countries. Africa is still being looted 3 times the amount of “aid” it is given. Not to mention other countries have at least a 200 year head start of development in comparison. You really think America was the way it is now after just 60 years of independence? Do some research

@pneron2032 it doesn’t matter if the whole world was Independent at the same time. Africa was and still is targeted for exploitation like no other part of the world. Unless you have done the research yourself to understand why many of the countries are the way they are, you would realize that it has nothing to do with its cultures. Coming from a place of privilege and ignorance, it’s to just make the generalization that Africa’s problems are entirely it’s own fault, but it’s not. Look up the colonial act with France, 14 of its formal colonies are required to give up to 75% of their international funds to France just as one example. It’s also common to believe the whole of the continent is in the same place when several counties are very developed. But people like to group all 55 countries together so if you see one part as poor, the whole continent is poor. We will only still by having this conversation because you choose to stay oblivious to reality

You really have to be naive to think these countries are supposed to magically stop exploitation after a century of colonization and even more decades of European influence and control of their leaders. Several others on this thread have already pointed out your flawed logic before me. You don’t know my skin color and You haven’t been to Africa yourself.
