@LittleMac53 so you subscribe to the privileged mentality that if you call out wrongs against you, you’re a victim and if you’re well off, it’s all on your own merit and you never had any advantages to help you that others didn’t have?
12
@LittleMac53 you see, it’s easy to say generational wealth shouldn’t be included but that also a factor that others don’t have to worry about when it comes to getting ahead. On paper constitutional opportunities are equal, but in reality it’s not. Many people try to make themselves feel better but just blaming others problems on bad choices instead of trying to understand why these people are in the situations they are in and helping to find a solution. Historically, equal opportunities have negatively affected only certain groups of people.
8
@LittleMac53 somebody’s ancestors ancestors made good choice while others ancestors didn’t have any choices at all. Nobody is blaming society for all their problems, but at the same time, people have a right to call out the wrongs done to them systemically. You’re lucky enough to be in a position where the environment your in hasn’t had a impact you as much as others. Others can’t say the same, which is literally what the video addressed.

@LittleMac53 it’s not just ignorant individuals. It is set up systematically. Yes there laws, and yet again, that doesn’t do much to stop discrimination. A job is legally not allowed to only hire white people, but that doesn’t stop them from throwing out resumes with ethnic sounding names. The abundance of programs found in majority white schools are not found in majority black schools. The housing market isn’t allowed to discriminate but still black people are 40 percent likely to still be denied a home loan than white people. Did you hear the story about the couple whose home appraisal went up after they removed anything showing that a black person lived there? These laws are not to give preference to minorities, it’s to make sure they are included. If you think voter suppression isn’t real, then you haven’t been paying attention or don’t want to. The closing of polling places in minority areas, the purging of voters from rolls without their knowledge affecting mostly minorities, minorities having to wait in line for 10 plus hours. For you not to try to see around is literally what Ben Shapiro is doing on the video and what is addressed.

@LittleMac53 you keep saying the same thing. For a third time, those government programs in place are supposed to help, but they do not in reality. But you refuse to even try to understand it for yourself. Your ignorance stems from you being fortunate enough to not deal with the problems most people of color face. Also, You are putting words in my mouth. Never said anyone is not responsible for Their actions. Your lack of empathy to know why minorities take wrong actions in question. You refuse to acknowledge there is a systemic problem because you really don’t care and it would make you feel a little less bad to just blame everything wrong as their own fault even though. The old pull yourself up from your bootstraps argument sounds nice to people who have always had bootstraps to pull. You would rather blame them than try to understand them. Man It must be nice to have such privilege.
8
@LittleMac53 it’s hard to understand because that’s completely false. Again, There is lack of access in education, healthcare, employment opportunities, housing, voting and much more that only certain demographics have to deal with to this day. To really understand that you would actually have to step out of your bubble and try to understand communities other than your own. You can say it’s illegal to do such and such all day, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen
7
@LittleMac53 This is getting comical. So you know what everyone else in the world has seen or not seen now? That’s not how it works. Youre very oblivious to the efforts put forth especially in this election that tried to suppress minorities voters. It’s very naive to think that everyone can simply just go to other places if their local polling places close. Where they have to go is usually very far and Do you really just assume that people can just get around. Everybody doesn’t have a car, especially elderly and buses don’t drive outside of their districts. As I have stated previously, thousands of mainly minority voters were purged from voters rolls for no reason and with no warning and Mainly minorities counties had People had to wait for 10 hours in line. Not to mention that many machines were not plugged in in urban areas for some odd reason. This year is only difference because of the massive efforts by people like Stacy Abrams. Biden’s numbers being higher than Obama has nothing to do with the amount of black people voting. You realize Not only black people voted for Biden and Obama right? Perhaps if people like would stop denying there’s a problem, there would be better life for those people
7
@LittleMac53 dude, you didn’t even read my whole comment. I never said buses stopped working. I said buses don’t drive outside of their districts. Making it more difficult for others to vote for no reason. Calling out what is wrong is not making excuses. Living people who lived at the same addresses for decades were purged. Only polling places were closed in minority neighborhoods.l but of course you think there’s nothing to think of that. I’m not surprised. Privilege makes a lot of people ignorant. Why do people like you keep pushing false narratives that there isn’t significant discrimination in the country?it’s so easy to say there’s always a way when you’ve always had your way. Youre basically repeating all things things addressed in this video
7
@LittleMac53 here we go with the straw man argument. I never said anyone should not be responsible for crimes. I wasnt talking about Committing crime at all. I said that there is a problem with people of color having to deal with with circumstances that hinder their success more easily than other demographics. It would just be excuses if it weren’t for the fact that it’s primarily happening to people of color. They shouldn’t have to work harder for basic rights while others don’t have worry about things getting in the way for them. You’re funny because you’re telling me I don’t know how you grew up but you’re fine with telling the whole world how they have or haven’t experienced voter suppression (which still is very real). Just because some people have made it out of their circumstances doesn’t mean that those circumstances shouldn’t be called out for being wrong. The thing that’s really in heads of people who think like you is denial that there’s a problem.
7
@LittleMac53 another straw man argument. Black people having fatherless homes or whatever unrelated crap you want to come up with has no effect on the ability to vote. You’re part of the problem. But silly of me to think the privileged guy who claims he knows what every black persons life is like, can see how ignorant and frankly stupid he sounds. I have explained over and over the hurtles that black people and minorities have to jump through that is of no concern to white people. And you’re only response is that is either it’s not true because you have never seen it yourself or it’s an excuse. It doesn’t matter how many times you tell yourself these problems don’t exist, people will always speak out against them because they very much do exist. You are the prime example of white privilege. And just for the record, 42 percent of fatherless families are white while only 28 percent is black so you can throw that racist argument out
7
@LittleMac53 ideally, every citizen is Supposed to be. Not in reality.
6
@LittleMac53 it is. Its easy to think everyone is one the same playing field when you don’t have to worry about your circumstances getting in your way. Immigrants who actually turn out successful have had to work twice as hard to get what they have. People like Lori loughlin get easily pay for their children to get into a good school but will look down on others who don’t get in as not working hard enough.
6
@LittleMac53 it’s not just some people. It doesn’t matter how many. the fact that the had access to cheat the system at all while many others can’t says enough. Everyone does not have the same opportunities. Everyone doesn’t have access to the same safety nets. When you look at public education, when you look at communities and generational wealth you would find it is very unequal. Yes, there are government programs in place that are supposed to help those less fortunate but again in reality it doesn’t help nearly as much.
6
@LittleMac53 this isn’t about all man kind. It’s about what’s going on in this country.
6
@LittleMac53 no you didn’t. If you did you would have read what I said about buses. you grew up where you didn’t have to face factors that many any minorities face that impacts their lives. Did you even watch the video? You’re are doing the exact flawed arguments that Ben Shapiro did that were pointed out how wrong they were. Again, it’s not excuses to call out systemic wrongs done to a whole demographic. You’re using the same straw man argument. This has nothing to do with getting up to go to work. Getting a job as a young person has nothing to do with discrimination. The influences in your environment make an impact on your choices.
6
@LittleMac53 I’m not saying the same thing. I’m repeating my replies because you keep saying the same thing. Here you are again showing your privilege. Who are you to know if all people have access to boots straps. If you think that you need to get out of the house more. You are assuming again that everyone is on the same playing field in your little bubble. Growing up with black people doesn’t make you an expert on knowing exactly what they all experience. Typical superiority complex. For the millionth time Calling out wrongs done that only effect certain communities is not an excuse. Most Asians and Africans arent coming here with nothing in their pockets. You are repeating the same “if some people made it out then everyone has a way to get out” argument which was also debunked in the video. Some people making it out while many others don’t doesn’t prove discrimination doesn’t exist. Voter suppression didn’t succeed as much this time but it still made an effort. Doing a little research and not basing your statements on what you think or feel happens would help you sound less ignorant
6
@LittleMac53 it would make a difference to actually be given the chance to see it doesn’t or not
5
@LittleMac53 and as I said, ideally equal opportunities and rights should be present in this country but in reality they don’t. The false narrative is from you thinking that everybody has the same circumstances and everybody is treated equally. You’re doing exactly what the video is addressing
5
@LittleMac53 sorry to upset you but it does exist. And just because you haven’t experienced it personally doesn’t cancel out everyone else who experiences it. As for the predominant black mayors and council that you speak of. They’re actually the ones fighting against closing more polling places. And that’s only one problem area of many
5
@LittleMac53 I mean if you refuse see what people are going through that have actually experienced it then of course you won’t believe there is voter suppression. It’s the typical “I haven’t seen it, so it must not have happened” perspective. I suggest you read some books by James Baldwin
5
This can’t be right. This doesn’t sound like it happened. It doesn’t make sense

@Iambatman_17 destroy? He built up a tanked economy because Trump didn’t handle it. Instead he called it a hoax and gave millionaires more tax cuts.
