I don’t get out of a track day for less than a grand, this is the reality of it. Are you running a GS125 bucket? Do you not use tires? Is your bike solar? Do you use home brand lubricants and change them bi-annually?
Entry generally costs around the $400 mark, and this is for around 4 hours of available track time.. so even if you don’t ever change tires, use fuel, change brake pads, change lubricants or filters, get any tuning done, break anything on the bike, trailer to and from....... it’s STILL $100 per hour to walk in.
Before the insurance regulation blow outs, we could hire tracks out privately.. this used to cost around $30-$50 a head for a full day, if you organise a group.
