Define felon… -is it a non violent person minding their own business with a gram of marijuana for personal use? -is it the cop kneeling on the back of their head and twisting their arms behind their back while yelling ‘STOP RESISTING’ so they can add resist arrest/assault officer to the charge sheet -is it the judge who hands down prison time for a non violent, zero harm ‘offence’ then sends that person to a privatised prison system for it?

  2. They absolutely should NOT be protected from their actions. They should be charged more severely for crimes than citizens. This person is trusted with a gun, and freedom to use it. Their word holds more weight than mine in the eyes of the law. That responsibility MUST come with SEVERE consequences if you abuse it.

  5. Make? Nobody is forcing them to take the pay cheque, the gun, the badge, the impunity. Don’t like it, quit.. do something else. These are not volunteers, the job has a LOT of perks and pays well, especially given how low the bar is.
