  4. These athletes have trained their entire lives for 2 weeks of competition, they won’t get another chance for 4 more years, if ever. It’s a big ask to sacrifice that.

Free from the corruption of money, politics? These people cannot help themselves, EVERYTHING is about them, EVERYTHING is about their ideology, and EVERYTHING is an opportunity to overbearingly spew it at the world. Forget the athletes who have made it their life’s goal to be there, it’s all about THEIR politics, THEIR ideology. Enough is enough.
