I’m not invested in this, bud, and I see the reporters hyperbole as ridiculous, but I do know my history, and if I don’t, I’ll go read, or I wouldn’t have posted. He said daily average, you compared Stalingrad, listed daily averages. If you wanted to compare conflict total, why list daily averages, it obviously dwarfs this conflict in scale. If you wanted to contest his daily figure, why not bring up the Somme. People (like this reporter) are great at using very specific figures to tell a narrative.

  6. When there are bullies on the playground, you befriend one, or you lose your lunch money. I don’t think sending military is necessary outside the SAS, but no reason not to express our displeasure at war, as a nation.
