  2. Look, I think this is idiocy.. bringing a group formed to champion an American social issue to Australia, is idiocy. The countries don’t have the same social issues or same history. Might as well use the Fred hollows foundation to combat Arctic fracking.. they’re not related. I will explain the name as I understand it, though. It’s not saying ONLY black lives matter, it’s just saying that they matter. Having seen some of the brutality against black people at the hands of the police in America, I get it. I’ve seen some things that make any fair and honest person sick to their stomach. The sad thing is, BLM isn’t that ideal it started as, it has just become a vessel for people to be openly racist and hateful towards white people.
