@magic.3000 It’s entertaining to me that because YOU believe something is stupid, others can’t enjoy it. I think Twitter is stupid and pointless, yet I’m sure you get majority of your socialisation, validation, self worth from it. I’m sure you scream appropriation when a white kid gets cornrows, yet you see no issue with destroying a family holiday billions of people love, and replacing the symbol of it with something else. Does Saint Nicholas not deserve his legacy to represent him as a person? I’m not religious, I’m anti religious.. but I will still enjoy Christmas with my family. It’s a time of year everyone gets together, I get to see the happiness on people I loves faces when I give them something I know they’ll like.

This is a legitimate case due to the hateful nature of the project.. I’m anti religious, but Christmas is a positive holiday regardless. Why throw hate at it? If it’s ok to shit on one of them, then it should be ok to shit on ALL of them, but that’s not the way it works, is it. Try to keep in mind how many cartoonists got slaughtered over one picture of Muhammad and get back to me on WHY Christian’s should have a sense of humour about this.

Asking people vested in the church to ‘prove’ something that validates their entire existence, and expecting them to come up with anything other than ‘evidence’ supporting their madness, is madness. @AzureKnight2 I have no issue with crude or racist jokes IF they are done in good spirit. People need to be able to laugh at themselves. This is spiteful/hateful and I will judge the creators directly for it.

The money saved annually on tax breaks in the USA ALONE, by organised religion, could solve world hunger. Yet malnutritioned corpses get thrown in mass graves daily. They are not the only two people who put this together, so claiming it was because they got high is a poor excuse. Were HBO high when they decided to air it? Christmas is celebrated widely across the globe, 2.5 billion people claim to be active Christian’s, many many many more celebrate the holiday. At a minimum you’re looking at a third of the global population. America has 320ish million people, is it ok to openly hate the institution of Christmas celebrated by 1/3 of the world, because of perceived systemic racism in parts of a country of 320 million? Seems very closed minded and disrespectful. Do you remember how many cartoonists were slaughtered for one drawing of Muhammad?
