If audiences are desperately screaming for black female superheroes, surely they don’t need to leverage/shit on a long term fan favourite to meet demand. Use an existing one, make a new one. If it’s about equality, I’m hoping that you’re fully in support of Chadwick Boseman being replaced by Miley Cyrus as King T’Chala.. because fuck the original character, right..

Just make new characters. Inclusion doesn’t mean you destroy existing things to even out the numbers. Write new content, create new characters. The god of thunder and ruler of Asgard turned his back on his people, got fat, turned into a complete failure with zero self esteem and handed his entire bloodline over to a strong black woman. In a time where his home world was destroyed, I don’t think the god of thunder would just stop caring, turn his back and get fat, he would become militant in the protection of his remaining kin. Garbage writing.
