  1. I think one of the things that made it special that the crew were a team. Most shows have double crossing, unrest, issues, people lying to each other. Serenity was a team unit, and while they were somewhat dysfunctional misfits, they were a team, and that was a beautiful thing. “You’re part of my crew”.
