  4. Peasants used garden tools, longbowmen were highly respected as they could turn entire battles. Fun fact, the ✌️(reversed) up yours sign was actually born by longbowmen showing the enemy they still had their 2 draw fingers. When captured, the enemy would amputate their draw fingers so they could no longer shoot a bow, as longbowmen were such a powerful member of an army.
