  1. Good mate of mines wife is a Muay Thai fighter. Legit fighter, proper ring fights, hard woman, lived and trained in Thailand for years. I’m a bit of a hack but I travel to Thailand and train for a few months every year or so. She’s probably 5’7” 55kg, I’m 6’3” 120kg. We spar and she lights me up, when I throw things she blocks it. Skill wise, it’s a wash….. But the thing is, and this comes from her.. if I throw 100%, it doesn’t matter if she blocks it.. it is going to go through the guard, knock her unconscious, and probably break her arm in the process. Men and women are built differently. I would hope this doesn’t make women believe they can trade hands with the average bloke.

  2.  @jameskhan1320  Men are on average larger than women, so on average there will always be a size advantage. Which was kind of the point of my post. However, since you bring it up, males also have denser bone and muscle fibre, so the strike should do more damage to a female, all things being even. If a fighter blasted a body kick into a 60kg man, and a 60kg woman, I think we can both agree one visual would be far more disturbing.
