@christybobby7147 Does Nathan even want those roles, when asked about Firefly he says “I hope a new cast pick it up”. Sadly Disney have announce this will be happening and Firefly will be an inclusive, family friendly series. Basically the next skin suit with writers who never even saw/didn’t care for the original series.

@android01978 There were certainly some bad films in other eras, however, people have come to the point now that if something doesn’t suck, it’s considered good. If you select Wahlberg and Holland to headline your franchise, it’s not exactly a B grade line up as far as current star power goes, this is no Sharknado, so it doesn’t cop the ‘B grade so bad it’s good’ label. This is supposed to be a big movie that spawns 20 other movies we’re supposed to mindlessly throw money at, because they’re not THAT bad.

@donavanfrea6768 If they just follow the existing script and get true fans of the story to work on it, it’s a lay up. It’s already widely loved with a built in, paying fan base… “we’re going to do a cover of Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, and Takeshi 69 will be re-writing the the album to appeal to a modern audience”

If you didn’t play the games, don’t know the story on a deeper level and are passionate about it, etc, you shouldn’t be on set as an actor or director.. it will show through in the final product, the fans will know and they won’t be kind to you for it.

@AyaDreamsSepia The entire series was laid out for them start to finish, with a built in fanbase.. could have stretched it into 5-6 movies if they wanted, and if they just stuck to the existing story, people would have lost their minds.
