This is a stand up comedian doing a show, and he can say whatever the fark he wants while he’s up there without being assaulted. That’s how it works. Jim Jeffries singled me and my mate out because we were muscular and in tight shirts.. called me a homo for 2 straight hours while I laughed my ass off in the front row.. get over yourself, you’re at a comedy show and a comedian is working.

  23.  @takashiross8553  It’s not an inappropriate comment, it’s a comedian on stage. You need to put your feelings down. Chris didn’t walk up to her at the bar and laugh at her for her illness. There is nothing malicious going on. Chappelle says he will never feel bad for a SINGLE thing he says on stage, and I agree with him 100% as long as it’s not done from a place of hate. It’s an act, a show. It’s worse because Will is also a performer, he knows what Chris does and why he’s on stage. Either we laugh at everyone, or we laugh at nobody. It will be a sad world if we take the second option.

If so, maybe the government can abolish freedom of speech for ‘safety’ reasons??!? Have we reached the point where we are literally incapable of laughing at ourselves, yet so hypocritical to laugh at others as long as it doesn’t directly offend us? He was laughing, so he obviously had no issue with anything else Chris had to say, or with Chris as a person.. but as soon as it offends him, he assaults him? Where is the logic here? This was a comedian, being a comedian, nothing more. To get upset at a person performing, as a performer yourself…….. It doesn’t compute. You know why he’s there, and you know it’s an act. There is nothing less manly than losing control of yourself and acting like a child. This is humiliating for Will. Been a fan of the dude for 30 years and he just became an embarrassment in my eyes. No man respects what he did, only little boys with very fragile egos see it as anything other than a tantrum. We all have things that bother us, doesn’t mean we should fly off the handle. Will was laughing, he clearly had no issue with what Chris was saying prior, or with Chris as a person. It got to a topic he didn’t like and he threw a tantrum. This is in no way anywhere near someone going to a cancer ward and making fun of cancer patients.
