She claimed he “hurt women and was abusive to women” so, his motives were apparently based on his hatred of women, not just being a jerk in general. 😃 I’m not sure I believe her.

@morganangel340 It’s ironic to use a genre with a marginalised fanbase, to teach that fanbase about the evils of marginalising others…….. I’m not sure you need to teach the 40 year old version of a kid who got got bashed in school for liking Star Trek, about marginalising others… I’m sure he can empathise without the need to destroy his hobby.

@morganangel340 Yep, whatever they are.. just like rom coms are for a certain type of audience, and thrillers, and dramas, and comedies. Different people watch different genres. If you’ve always liked a beer, and someone hands you a vodka raspberry, insisting it’s beer… they can call it what they like, they can put it in beer bottles… you’re still not going to buy it.

She just labelled Scott an abusive sexist.. not ‘he was rude’ it had to be ‘he was rude and violent towards, exclusively women’ this is clearly a liar trying to use the current culture of ‘believe all women’ to cover her own ass for being a difficult little prick of a human.

@Lazarus1095 It makes sense, sorry it missed you. Let’s break it down. If she said “he was rude to cast members/staff”, sure.. If she said “he injured a cast member/staff member”, sure.. But she said he abused and physically assaulted exclusively women….. really….. Do you think ANYONE in that industry, let alone a white dude with a heavily declining career, in the middle of the #metoo #believeallwomen white hate era, is going to SPECIFICALLY and EXCLUSIVELY target women, on an open forum, in front of women, not just verbally, but PHYSICALLY…………. Think it through.. does that seem like something all the women on that female power set would just casually dismiss? Physical assault… by a straight white male? In the land of lawsuits? @Lazarus1095 If you make a statement that someone is harassing, assaulting, etc ‘women’… this is making the statement exclusive to women. Otherwise you would say he was harassing staff/crew. If it were the case, as stated by Ruby, that Scott was indeed attacking women, he would already be cancelled. There would be a lawsuit for assault, and the rest of the crew would be screaming METOO. The rest of the crew would back her claims, ESPECIALLY the female members of it. The studio would be folding and publicly apologising to her and all women. Her story is filled with holes, and I don’t believe her. She sounds like a child making up lies to get out of trouble. They very well may have disliked each other and had clashes, which is probably the case, but that doesn’t mean he dislikes women and mistreated women. That is a disagreement between two people. Trying to paint him as a violent sexist with zero proof or backup from the countless other people on set, is not only unbelievable, it’s also a disgusting act.

@Lazarus1095 You’re struggling to grasp this.. she’s calling him a violent sexist. Not a violent person, not an abusive person.. a violent and abusive person towards WOMEN. In this climate, those actions from a straight white male would NOT be protected by ANYONE in that industry. The opposite would happen, he would be shredded. So AGAIN, like I’ve said in each prior post.. her targeting him as a violent sexist just doesn’t fly with reality. Your hysteria surrounding her “breaking her back for these people”, leads me to believe you might like a little bit of a story, and might be a little bit prone to seeking out victimisation… even where it may not exist.

Trying to paint his intentions as violently sexist… sorry, I don’t believe you. Simple as that.. have you ever dealt with children? Because that is how she’s acting. If there are more fans than you think, and you are one of these poor fans who never had any superhero ‘representation’, go buy a ticket. The fact tickets aren’t being purchased and profits have taken a dive, says perhaps they’re not catering to the market. I do find it ironic that the genre of the marginalised is being used to teach the marginalised about the evils of marginalising.. perhaps this is beyond you.

@acommonman8304 If you think putting characters of any colour or sexual orientation in a movie for the sake of having a person of ‘x’ sexual orientation or ‘x’ colour in the movie, is anything other than social posturing.. you’re missing the point of movies. I don’t pay to see a sci fi movie for a 2 hour lesson on how you wish the world was, I pay to disconnect from it for an hour or two and be entertained with a STORY. Do you honestly think sci fi was ever void of diversity in casting? Have you ever watched Battlestar Galactica?! Do you even like the genre, or do you just want to see stuff a large number of white people like, turned into trash that nobody likes? I’ve gotta ask, do you run up on Bollywood about diversity? Make sure they’ve got plenty of white/black/Hispanic people filling roles? Freak out at the Nigerian film industry for the lack of diversity in their casting, do you??!?

@hansgruber9685 We all have very easy access to any type of anabolic steroid you could ask for, trust me.. just head to a bodybuilding gym.. The thing is, taking steroids doesn’t actually make you big, it just lets you train harder and more often. You still have to put in the work. I can’t see Scott doing his third heavy squat session of the week and looking forward to chicken and broccoli following it. Especially by the third/fourth/fifth movie. You’ve gotta love it, and if you love it, you don’t look like Scott. Nothing wrong with that, we’re all built differently.

@hansgruber9685 He was offered it and didn’t change his current schedule to take it, what makes you believe he would be willing to spend 6 hours a day in pain for over a decade? And that is before you look at the diet. I don’t think he has it in him. But that’s just how I see it.
