  4. Someone holding no leverage cannot make demands, this should be clear to anyone. By having US mining in their country, Russia will be forced to stand down, and they will have money to rebuild from the mining deal. If US puts troops there, Russia will take this as an act of aggression. This will cause large scale war. Zelenskyy wants WW3, Trump does not.

If US puts troops in Ukraine, Russia will take this as an act of aggression. This could cause large scale war. Zelenskyy does not care if WW3 happens, Trump does not want it to happen.
