  1. This is why asylums should NEVER have been closed down. This is a mentally unwell drug addict who will never get well on his own, yet he's on the street self medicating, and growing his criminal record, which in turn reinforces his mental illness, requiring more self medication, which leads to more charges. The cycle continues.

  3. L:eftists insisted asylums be closed because it's offensive to call people mentally unwell. Unfortunately that means there is no help for people like this if they don't have a strong support network to start with. They just get cycled between homelessness and prison until death, or they hurt someone and permanently end in prison. Mens health is at the bottom of the list, so he is even less likely to get help. I'm so glad we have an entire month to celebrate peoples bedroom preferences, though.. just the important stuff.
