  1. @Sinnicide It goes both ways, mate. If guns were for sale at the supermarket in my country, I guarantee I wouldn’t be typing this. I would have been put in the ground many times over, but 100% in 2017 walking to my car after work. Dude I had banned from my venue had a massive downslide on ice, blamed it all on me for banning him. Waited for me behind my car with a knife, I’m a big boy and can take care of myself, he knew this and decided better, he knew he may hurt me, but it would end badly for him. The hate in his eyes, I knew if he had a gun, I’d be dead. He stabbed his mother later that night.

  2. I think resist arrest should require body cam evidence. All cops are required to wear them, and they are required to be on, especially when making arrests. If they can’t provide footage from before the alleged ‘resist’ occurs until after it concludes, the police shouldn’t be believed, and the charge should be dismissed, with a note being added to that officers file that judges can see when that charge is brought up by that officer next time. Cops will hurt someone, forcing them to act defensively, then say “stop resisting”, it’s a charge I don’t agree with. If you’re trying to dislocate my shoulder, I’m going to resist as a natural reaction.

  4. @blakjak220gmail I’m Aussie, if the “voice to parliament” change to our constitution making black people an elite class in our society, passes, I’ll be visiting Texas and seeing if it might be a nice place to consider.

  6. If I find you in my house, I’m going to go at you 100% with whatever weapon I can find. As far as I see it, in that situation it’s either you or me. I may have legal issues later, but I’d prefer to deal with that than deal with a dead family because I didn’t act when someone entered my home. It doesn’t matter if you were right when you’re dead. It’s a mental thing for your family as well, someone breaks into your home, you don’t feel safe in your own home. For a kid/wife, knowing that dad/husband protected them even when the absolute worst happened, will be a big thing.
