  2. Purchased it 2 days ago, as I know I can return it within 7 days for a full refund. Honest and short opinion (up to character lvl 20) Acting and voice acting ‘banter’ during fights is REALLY bad. Gear progression is bad. Flying and combat is really fun. Group fighting is fun, however, I can’t help but feel as a MASSIVE 1p adventure (Witcher style) this game would have been amazing.

  3. Jesse Wells I’m torn as to if I take it back or not. The flight and combat is really fun, and free roaming the amazing world they have made is cool. The javelins have a very different play style. They need to spend some time making the beautiful world they have created actually come to life. This seems like the shell of an absolutely amazing world/game. About 30% complete. And that is sad.

My point being, so much hate for Anthem, and deserved for what was released, but at its base, the controls, everything about it is better than destiny, or has more potential than destiny. I smashed destiny, got destiny 2.. and wasn’t sure if I’d accidentally put the destiny 1 CD in by mistake.

  6. As with the far cry games, I feel like once you have played the division, the division 2 would just be more of the same?!

  7. Dante Fiore For sure, for instance, farcry 5 was a really good game, but I genuinely feel it was just farcry 4.. I played that to death, so when I picked up far cry 5, I felt like I’d already played it. I smashed the division, all the footage just looks like the same game.

  11. Neil Williams The hate is from people who game 8+ hours a day. It runs out of content, their rage is justified, but way over the top. It took me 2 weeks to finish the storyline, so from my perspective it’s great fun.

  14. I understand the hate, I do.. really I do. I supported the stand against evil EA, and to be honest, nerds... you/we won. The game is $15 now. A grand victory in the face of publishers releasing unfinished games and expecting us to buy it. NOW, Moving forwards. If you are a casual gamer not looking to spend 15 hours a day on this game, if you want some fun mechanics, cool visuals and really well optimised audio. If you and a few mates want to fly around and blow shit up together.. Then this game great fun. It really is. Before you all start flaming hard, I understand it is a skeleton, it should still be in production, but for $15 I’ve had a whole bunch of fun. I hope they keep working on it as it has a lot of potential.
