  1. mark rigg Supercross riders are some of the most impressive athletes on the planet. I agree that F1 isn’t a sport, car drivers in general are little pussies, but two wheel racing is certainly a sport with high end athletes.

  2. Benjamin Holm Hansen Ahh for sure, car racing is spend to win, and the politics are so convoluted it leaves world leaders scratching their heads in confusion. The GP bikes are killing it at the moment, mate. If you are a fan of racing, I highly suggest checking it out. Consistent passing, very close racing. Assen last year was one of the greatest sporting events I’ve witnessed. Worth a look, yet most rounds produce great racing in all 3 classes, very often coming down to the last corner. The governing body has made all its changes with the end goal of making all bikes on the grid capable of winning, and it is working, some rounds the top 10 are covered by a few seconds.. they go 360kmh.. that is close racing.

To say electric is ‘never’ going to be faster is ignorant.   8. mark rigg Yeah, I misunderstood your response. When the machine is doing the bulk of the heavy lifting, it can no longer be referred to as a sport. F1 seems to fall into that category. Having said this, respect to their level of skill, they are the best of the best behind the wheel, regardless of their off-putting femininity, credit where it’s due.. I think the skill isn’t the deciding factor though, where on a bike, it often is.

  9. RaVeN Mad? Kiddo, I race bikes.. sitting in a cockpit surrounded by a metal cage ain’t brave. And while some level of fitness is involved, some upper body and core strength, car drivers aren’t very impressive humans physically. I did a state enduro event recently.. I’m 37. Physically Hamilton/Riccardo etc couldn’t hold my jock strap and I’m an amateur with a full time job. Like I said, I think every driver on that grid would cry if you slapped them. Drivers aren’t athletes, I respect their skill, but respect nothing else about them. I bet the sound of their piss hitting the urinal is feminine.

If F1 wants to know how to succeed, it needs to look at MotoGP.. the most exciting spectacle in Motorsport. 360kmh machines with podiums being covered by less than a second. THAT is racing. F1 is the only world championship I can think of that is worse to watch than club level competition. Pit stops... FUCK OFF Narrow tracks... FUCK OFF Penalties... FUCK OFF Politics...
